Pastoral Partners at Green Valley

You’ve Got a Friend at Green Valley Community Church!

We come to church on Sundays because our Green Valley pastors are wonderful at helping us feel connected to God. It’s the experience, week after week, feeling the message is made especially for us that makes weekly service so compelling. So enriching.

Whether you attend services at Green Valley Church, watch online, or connect on the Green Valley app, there’s an even more personal experience waiting for anyone wanting a bit more help and connection.

Because let’s face it, we turn to God for help, we look to Jesus for advice, and we listen to the Wisdom of the Holy Spirit. The message of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit are the same: You are cared for, you are loved, you are not alone. And that’s the goal of the Pastoral Partners at Green Valley, to show you the power of leaning on a spiritual community.

Pastoral Partners are here to listen to you, pray for you and offer church and community resources.

We are on the frontlines here and we get a special look at the needs of the community
— Pastoral Partners

I got to talk with a Pastoral Partner at Green Valley. She was busy putting together an extensive community resource guide. She has big plans and aspirations for helping in every way imaginable, but what stands out most is her passion for helping the community. It’s contagious.

Pastoral Partners are here to help by appointment or via the care cards in the back-pocket seat of the chair in front of you at service. They truly are a resource in a number of ways, offering help navigating community resources and getting needs met. Their real power, however, is listening with a caring ear and an open heart.

Sometimes our biggest problem is being stuck in our own minds. It’s that simple! That’s where a compassionate stranger can make a real difference.

The Pastoral Partners are here to help with the complexities of life and in all matters of the heart.

Pastoral Partners are available after Sunday Services or in the Cafe during Common Ground on Saturdays. Or call and make an appointment for Tuesdays or Thursdays.
