At Green Valley Community Church we know that life isn't really as random as it sometimes seems. We understand the importance of equipping people with the tools and skills they need to help them through all that life has to offer—the good times as well as the bad. That’s why we are devoted to offering a diverse program of classes and support groups to residents of El Dorado County.
This year, most classes are free with your only cost being the price of the book. We've provided Amazon links below, but you can purchase or borrow the books anywhere! Classes with cost will provide the book/class materials for you. Please register for classes with registration links so instructor will know how many people to expect. Looking forward to seeing you!

Women In Prayer
Prayer develops our relationship with God. If we never speak to the people we know, the relationship will quickly deteriorate. It is the same way with God. Prayer - talking with God - helps us grow closer and become more intimately connected to Him. This group offers an opportunity to gather in His name and grow closer through prayer. Whether you want to pray for others, are in need of personal prayer or want to share a praise for answered prayer, join us whenever you can. No need to register. For women only.

Marriage Ministry: Cherish
Millions of couples getting married have pledged to "love and cherish, until death do us part." Most of us understand and get the love part . . . but what does it mean to cherish our spouse? Why do we say it once at the wedding and then rarely even mention it again? Learn how to infuse more energy into your marriage instead of just doing life the same as always. Cherishing can breathe light, hope and new life into a marriage - even one marred by neglect and disrespect.

Grief Share is a support group for those who have experienced the loss of someone due to death. It is a safe place for you to come, where you can grieve with others who understand the pain of losing someone they love. Each week we view a video created by experts in the field of grief and we have discussion time to help you work through your grieving process so that you can move from mourning to joy.
