Next Steps is a 30-minute gathering at 12:45 PM
on the First Sunday of each Month.

You’ve attended services, but you want to feel more involved. We like to think of Green Valley as a family, and taking those next steps will help you feel more connected and develop long-lasting relationships.

Join a Volunteer Team

Be part of something bigger than yourself. Use your gifts and experiences to serve others and develop friendships on the team along the way. We have serving opportunities that vary from serving during the week and weekends in admin, production, the clothes closet, during services with youth, Saturday morning Common Ground, gardening, firewood…the list goes on and on. We’ve got opportunities for talents in the creative arts with worship and graphic design along with video editing and photography. Find a place that uses your talents. Fill out the Volunteer Form or email info@greenvalley.church to get plugged in.

Join a GV Group or Class

Life is not meant to be lived alone. We recommend getting involved with a group to begin building relationships—a great step in making GVCC feel like home. Our Groups & Classes focus on building practical tools for everyday life. We do this by learning principles from God’s word and from drawing on the experiences of others to help us. We offer Ministries, Support Groups and Classes.

Attend an Event

There’s always something going on—special events, classes and more. Try one out! From one-day, church-wide events to ongoing classes and support groups, there is something for everyone. Go to our Events and Class Calendar. Want to get an idea what our events are like? Follow us on Facebook or Instagram!

Grow Deeper in Your Faith

Get to know God and grow in your faith. There are many ways to do this.

Read The Bible

We are reading through the Bible, as a church family, this year. Feel free to start anytime. We’ve got lots of resources to help you on your journey on our Bible in a Year Page. This year we’re following The Bible Projects reading plan from The Bible App. Reading from your own Bible? We’ve got printable bookmarks and a way to set up daily reminders. Find Out About Baptism

Baptism shows others that a person has made a personal decision to follow Jesus Christ. It represents that a person has accepted Christ's death on the cross as a substitute judgment for his or her sins; that a new life has begun in Christ. Green Valley performs Baptisms throughout the year. Contact info@greenvalley.church to find out when is the next Baptism. Find out more…

Find out about Communion

Jesus' Last Supper, shared with his disciples on the night before He was crucified, is the biblical foundation for the Communion meal celebrated by Christians all over the world today. Jesus asks his followers to remember him through celebrating communion together.

He (Jesus) took some bread and gave thanks to God for it. Then he broke it in pieces and gave it to the disciples, saying, “This is my body, which is given for you. Do this to remember me.”

After supper he took another cup of wine and said, “This cup is the new covenant between God and his people—an agreement confirmed with my blood, which is poured out as a sacrifice for you.”
